Universal electronic ballast for discharging lamps HPS and HID with 250, 400 and 600 watts.

Up to now our new electronic ballast is the only one which can be used with a multiplicity of discharging lamp an different wattages.

This fact enables lamp manufacturers the production of flexible light systems which can drive multiple lamps and power ratings for a large spectrum of applications.
It´s possible to use the same lamp fixture with changing requirements of light output and energy usage. Thus enables individual variations of the actual needed lightlevel without expensive changes on the lighting installation.

This gives great advantages to the user, because the light and energy can be optimal aligned to the needs.

Normaly, the driving of lamps with the universal electronic ballast can be variated with two switches which are located under sealing caps in the ballast casing.

• One switch control the nominal power of the engaged bulb (250, 400 or 600 watts).
• The second switch with 16 positions enables the fine adjustment of the power around +/- 20%.

Ex factory the electronic ballast will adjustet to position 8. Settings <8 produce a dimed operating condition, settings >8 enable an overoutput.

For automatic or central control of the energy or light level we can offer some interfaces (like 0-10 volts). With this option its possible to realise a environment conditioned illumination and optimal energy usage.

The e-ballast is availible in different versions for direct installation with one or two cables or with reflector and / or power cord.
